Petition to the Kiambu County Government, National Parliament and Ministry of Interior

We, the residents and concerned citizens of Nachu Ward, Kiambu County, call for urgent and sustained action against illicit brews and harmful alcohol abuse, which are contributing to loss of lives, family breakdown, youth addiction, poverty, insecurity and school dropouts.

We call for:
– Stronger enforcement against illicit brews;
– Action against manufacturers and distributors;
– Proper alcohol licensing and monitoring;
– Protection, rehabilitation and counselling for affected residents; and
– More opportunities, skills and employment for young people.

This is a peaceful civic initiative seeking lawful action, public participation and accountability.
