Nachu ward is generally a lively ward. The ward has been given life by sports and entertainment. Major sports in Nachu ward are football and athletics. Football is the loudest sport in Nachu ward, having so many youths and aged men engaged in the sport. Even larger is the crowd of spectators that storm the two main but poorly maintained stadia. Lussigetti and Kamangu are the two stadia that local and county leagues are played in.

Athletics has the selected few. Few but prolific. Many people do their  training on the tarmac road passing through Nachu ward, while others do their training near Ngong hills. These athletes go for competitions in different wards because such events are rarely organized in this ward.

Entertainment is lively in Nachu ward especially at night in the joints. A notable place is the Kamangu Gardens which is more of a pub but has recreational facilities. This facility  is huge and well equipped for both children and adults. But children are only allowed in during the day. At night, only adults gain entry because of the nature of activities.  There is only one social hall in Nachu ward but it is remotely located and its usage is very restricted. This makes it hard for residents to showcase the talents they have. Actually not many people who know its location.
